Joe Lentini (Official Site) grew up in the grip of Philadelphia's Center City, discovering things most grid-kids do, like which streets circumvent the winter wind and how to get in under age. Most importantly, as a precocious teen in an underground scene, he discovered music in its electronic form, and following the logic of the (circuit) grid to its conclusion, began work in a studio setting, moving quickly to production. Since then, the world's opened wide with a slew of deftly produced (and cleverly titled) releases on Schematic--512 Max Health, Cigarette Sharkskin, Skirt Chasing Rake, Pink Pussy Popsicle, and the latest to drop, Status in the Ballroom.
